Scaffold checklist

Scaffold design:

While it is erected used and dismantled. It is a requirement of the Work at Height Regulations. The scaffold should be designed by bespoke calculation. Similar guidance from manufacturers of system scaffolds. Technical Guidance TG20 for tube and fitting scaffolds.

Following are the typical information incluide this:

• Number of boarded lifts.

• Site location.

• Intended use.

• Any critical dimensions which may affect the scaffold

• Maximum working loads to be imposed . 

• Period of time the scaffold is required to be in place

• Maximum number of people using the scaffold at any one time.
