Using the Grater and thick saucepan utensils


      

RECIPE OF SWEET TREATS: 
        

a)   3 cups granulated sugar
b)   ½  cup water
c)   Teaspoon Peppermint Essence
d)   Red or Pink Food colouring
e)   2 cups grated coconut 
              


                 

DIRECTIONS:

A) Mix and cook the coconut, water and granulated sugar in a thick saucepan.

B)  Boil the ingredients until the grated coconut is soft.Make sure that the mixture is sticky to hold   
                                                                                                                                                                                                             

C)  Add the Peppermint Essence.

D)  Stir vigorously for a minute.

E)  Using a large spoon place heaps of the mixture on greased sheets.

F)  Leave some of the mixture in the sauce pan and colour with the food colouring.

G) Please the coloured mixture as small heaps on top of the bigger heaps on the greased sheets.                 Allow to cool and server.
