SCAFFOLDING SAFETY PROGRAM

Scaffolding has a variety of applications for a construction. It is used in new construction, routine maintenance, paintings etc. In its simplest form, a scaffold is “any temporary elevated or suspended work surface used to support workers”.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.) A Competent Person direct personnel involved in the erecting, dismantling, moving, operating, repairing, maintaining of scaffolding etc.

2.) Ensuring that all personnel working on our in the house and any construction site of scaffolding equipment comply with the safe work practices for scaffolding as outlined in the written Scaffolding Safety Program.

3.) All scaffolding is properly maintained, required inspections are completed, and the associated documentation is retained.
