TYPES OF SCAFFOLDING USED IN CONSTRUCTION

Following are types of Scaffolding used  in construction:

• Single scaffolding
• Double scaffolding
• Cantilever scaffolding
• Trestle scaffolding
• Steel scaffolding

1) Single scaffolding:

 Single scaffolding is basically  used for brick masonry. Single scaffolding is also known as  the brick layers.

                             

2)Double scaffolding:

 Double scaffolding is used for a stone masonry. Double scaffolding is aslo known as mason sacffodling.

                                              

3)Cantilever scaffolding:

Cantilever scaffolding  in which the standard are supported on series needls. Cantilever scaffolding is also called  single frame type scaffolding.

                                               

4)Trestle scaffolding:

In this type of scaffolding working platform is supported  on ladders. Trestle scaffolding basically used work for inside the room.

                                    

5)Steel scaffolding:

Steel scaffolding is constructed by the steel tubes. Ti is very easy to  construct. In steel scaffolding more safety used for a workrs.
